Taylor Swift's Squad Welcomes Brittany Mahomes

Taylor Swift's squad is known for its everlasting coolness, and recently, Brittany Mahomes was warmly embraced into this group.

Brittany, the wife of Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, joined the "Cruel Summer" singer and her famous friends in a luxury suite at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to support the Chiefs in their game against the New York Jets on Sunday night.

The night before, Swift, who is rumored to be in a relationship with Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Chiefs, invited Brittany to a night out in New York with her crew, which included Blake Lively and Sophie Turner.

This budding friendship signifies the beginning of their shared reign as the queens of the Kansas City Chiefs WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends).

On Sunday, Taylor and Brittany, a former professional soccer player, stood together in a private box to witness another victory for Kansas City.

Taylor, the "Wildest Dreams" songstress, wore a black long-sleeved top paired with denim shorts and knee-high black leather Louis Vuitton boots.

Brittany, 28 years old, sported fiery red leather pants with a corset top and a long, black leather trench coat adorned with her husband's number 15 on the back.

Brittany has been a fixture on the Kansas City scene, accompanying Patrick long before he signed a massive 10-year, $503 million contract with the Chiefs in 2020.

Their love story became official at the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl ring ceremony in 2020 when Patrick proposed on one knee. A month later, they announced they were expecting their first child, and in February 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Sterling Skye. The couple then tied the knot in March 2022.

Just two months later, they revealed that they were expecting another child, and Brittany gave birth to Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III in November.

Apart from her sideline appearances, Brittany also takes the spotlight as the co-owner of the Kansas City Current in the National Women's Soccer League.

Mrs. Mahomes has been one of the Chiefs' most vocal supporters, although her enthusiasm has sometimes drawn criticism from fans.

In January 2022, she celebrated the Chiefs' divisional round playoff win against the Buffalo Bills by spraying champagne over unsuspecting crowds from her private suite.

A month earlier, she expressed frustration on social media when her husband was sacked during a play, drawing attention for her comments about tackling quarterbacks.

Online trolls recently criticized Brittany during the game, this time alongside her new football friend, Taylor Swift.

One fan wrote online, "Brittany Mahomes to Taylor Swift: TIGHT ENDS DON’T ALWAYS GET THE BALL. THEY’RE ACTUALLY REALLY IMPORTANT FOR BLOCKING," referring to the ladies' presence at the game.

Swift, 33 years old, made her debut as one of Travis Kelce's guests at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sept. 24. She was later seen leaving with the football player after the game.

She watched the Chiefs defeat the Chicago Bears in the company of more Kansas City royalty, including Travis' mom, Donna Kelce.

Patrick and Travis, who have achieved two Super Bowl championships together, are also best friends. After the game, Patrick confessed that he knew Swift would be in attendance but didn't want to interfere with any plans his buddy had with the superstar singer.

Following a touchdown pass to Kelce, he told FOX Sports' Erin Andrews, "I knew she [Swift]" was in the house …. so, I knew I had to get the ball to Travis."

He added, "I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to."

Swift is well-known for her privacy regarding her relationships and recently ended a six-year relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.

The former couple reportedly first met at the MET Gala in May 2016 when Swift was dating DJ Calvin Harris but maintained a strictly platonic friendship. Swift and Harris parted ways in June 2016 after a yearlong relationship.

In July, Swift made history by earning more No. 1 albums than any other woman with her latest re-recorded album, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)." She commenced her Eras Tour in March and is currently on a break before her next stop in Brazil next month. The tour will resume in the new year, with concerts scheduled around the world, including Australia, Japan, England, Austria, and the U.S.

For Swifties eager to catch a glimpse of The Eras Tour, a concert film documenting the tour will premiere at AMC and Cinemark Theatres on Oct. 13. Additionally, on Oct. 27, Swift will release her next re-recorded album, "1989 (Taylor's Version)."
